How We Got Started

Maggie's Hospice Flagstaff has been serving the greater Flagstaff area since 2020. We have a total of 3 branches including our Prescott location that has been open since 2013 and our Cottonwood location that has been open since 2016. Maggie's Hospice is a memorial hospice dedicated to providing outstanding hospice care.

Maggie's Hospice was named after Dr. Margaret Irby who lived in the Prescott area and was the CFO for THEMA Health Services in Phoenix until she passed away in 2009. Dr. Margaret believed strongly in providing services that are responsive to the needs​ and exceed expectations of those we serve. Maggie's Hospice is dedicated to carrying out that mission as we expand to support Northern Arizona including the Cottonwood and Sedona area. 

Hospice is a wonderful service for someone who has a terminal illness. National studies conclude that hospice support and services can improve quality of life and extend time at the end of life.
